LAMP 2025 Announcement

Dear LAMP Asia attendees and GAMA family, 

Thank you for your patience while information has unfolded around LAMP Asia. After meeting with GAMA Philippines and the NuStar hotel management we have decided that the concerns around your hotel experience as well as historical aftershocks Cebu has experienced, we have decided to cancel LAMP Asia 2025. 

It is our number one concern to put the safety of our members first and while we are devastated by the timing of the events we are disappointed, however confident in our joint decision. 

A few logistical items: 

1. HOTEL: NuStar will honor a full refund for any room cancellations you may need to make to alter your plans. 

2. FLIGHTS: Additionally, we have spoken to both global and domestic airlines and nearly all are honoring flight credits or refunds for any flights into Cebu.  Unfortunately due to private bookings GAMA is unable to offer financial support on this circumstance however we are happy to provide any documentation you would need to verify the cancellation due to Force Majeure with the hotel. 

3. REGISTRATION FEES: Regarding registration fees – we are working through options for attendees and each attendee will receive an email within the next 5 working days with options. 

While we are disappointed, perhaps the biggest disappointment is all of the hard work our speakers put into their presentations for you… 

BUT NO WORRIES we are working with our speakers, right now, to confirm a virtual recording of their presentations to be shared with ALL GAMA members! So a virtual experience open to all is coming your way – stand by for our schedule.

My friends, our deepest apologies for this inconvenience however as we all know being in insurance saving lives by mitigating risk is critical and I know myself along with GAMA Philippines would be devastated should we put anyone in harms way.
